Optimal Solution of Peer-to-Peer and Peer-to-Grid Trading Strategy Sharing between Prosumers with Grid-Connected Photovoltaic/Wind Turbine/Battery Storage Systems

This paper presents an energy management peer-to-peer (P2P) and peer-to-grid (P2G) trading strategy for power sharing between prosumers with grid-connected photovoltaic/wind turbine/battery storage systems. The optimal results are obtained using the “Fmincon” solver due to its ability solve large-scale optimization problems. Two sectors considered in this study that is residential commercial. show consumer side, load satisfied by from grid, own renewable system (RES), commercial side RES during first off-peak period (00:00 AM 05:00 AM). During peak pricing (17:00 PM 22:00 PM), consumer’s battery battery, no bought grid high price. Furthermore, 37.69% 39.40% cost savings commercial, respectively, a reduction of bill $42.26/day $42.97154/day, recorded. Significant developed P2P/P2G maximum daily achieved compared existing cases such as P2G only P2P only. Finally, can achieve greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions 141.88 kgCO2-eq 176.99 net savings, while 122.34 GHG mitigation 196.53 savings.
